Two Ofsted Outstanding Pre-Schools in Horley

We have been a part of the Community of Horley for over 35 years.

First established at St Francis Church Hall, and proud to still be operating there, we also now serve you from Horley Infant School.

St Francis Church Hall

Bobtails at St Francis is set in a large Church hall which we divide into our pre-school room. We have a large car park, wonderful enclosed garden, which we use in addition to our inside teaching environment allowing children to extend their learning and fun.

We have an all-weather shade sail allowing access to the outside space all year round, a rubber safety surface where the children can zoom around the ‘Bobtails road’ on the trikes, and an astro-turf area that is used all year round. Children also have the opportunities to use our large physical equipment, space to run around, to dig and explore in our sand, water and digging areas or make tea for 24 in our ‘mud kitchen’ and home corner!

Horley Infant School

Bobtails at Horley infant school is set in a purpose built building called “The Warren” in the grounds of the school. We have a big garden which we call our outside classroom plus we have use of the school field, playground, pond and Forrest school area.

We are very lucky here at Bobtails Horley Infants as we use the whole of the school grounds.  We firmly believe that children need to get messy, run around and have fun to learn. We also plan so many activities from riding trikes around the playground and on the school field, team games on the astro football pitch, hockey, football, climbing, crawling, dancing, jumping and, above all, just letting children be children and enjoy themselves.
